- 1 pound skirt steak, thinly sliced
- 3 cups fresh broccoli florets, cut into bite-size pieces
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- ⅓ cup water
- ⅓ cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon grated garlic
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- ⅛ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- ½ teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F for about 5 minutes and spray the basket lightly with non-aerosol cooking spray.
- Arrange sliced skirt steak in the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In a bowl, toss broccoli florets with canola oil, then air fry for 6-8 minutes until tender.
- For the sauce, whisk together water, soy sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and cornstarch in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat until thickened.
- Combine beef and broccoli in a bowl and pour the sauce over them; toss to coat evenly.
- Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
