- 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (more as needed)

- 6 cups powdered sugar
- ¾ cup milk (or apple juice)
- 1½ tsp maple extract (optional)
Instructions
- Thaw the dinner rolls on a greased sheet tray for 2-3 hours or overnight in the fridge.
- Cut each roll into six pieces. Chop apples from the filling into smaller chunks.
- Combine roll pieces, apples, and cinnamon in a mixing bowl. Knead until they form a cohesive dough.
- Shape the dough into 16 pieces, flatten them slightly, and let rise covered for one hour.
- Heat oil to 350°F and fry fritters until golden brown on both sides.
- Prepare the glaze while fritters are warm; dip each fritter into the glaze and let set on a cooling rack.
