  • ¾ cup water
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1½ teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 containers Pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • ½ cup sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (for coating)
  • Caramel sauce (for drizzling)
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In a saucepan, combine diced apples, water, granulated sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and ground cinnamon over medium heat until thickened.
  3. Separate crescent rolls into triangles. Place a tablespoon of cooled filling at the wide end of each triangle and roll up tightly.
  4. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl; roll each bomb in this mixture until coated.
  5. Place bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
