- 4–6 slices good-quality turkey
- 8 slices gruyère or Swiss cheese
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice the croissants in half lengthwise. Layer two slices of cheese on each bottom half, followed by turkey slices and another slice of cheese.
- In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, honey, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, and poppy seeds. Brush this glaze generously over each assembled croissant.
- Place the croissants on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 7-9 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and garnish with sliced green onions before serving warm.
