  • 4 flaky French croissants
  • 46 slices good-quality turkey
  • 8 slices gruyère or Swiss cheese
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the croissants in half lengthwise. Layer two slices of cheese on each bottom half, followed by turkey slices and another slice of cheese.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, honey, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, and poppy seeds. Brush this glaze generously over each assembled croissant.
  4. Place the croissants on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 7-9 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Remove from oven and garnish with sliced green onions before serving warm.
