  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and marinate in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Remove chicken from buttermilk and coat in the flour mixture; let it sit on a wire rack for about 10 minutes.
  4. For the sauce, combine mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, lime juice, and honey in a bowl; set aside.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry chicken pieces in batches until golden brown and cooked through (about 4–5 minutes per side).
  6. Drain excess oil on paper towels and serve with Bang Bang sauce drizzled on top or on the side.
