Ingredients

  • 5 apples
  • 100 ml water
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 40 g sugar
  • 250 g mascarpone
  • 250 g quark
  • 200 g whipped cream
  • 50 g sugar (for cream layer)
  • Nut brittle (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Peel, core, and dice the apples. In a saucepan, combine apple cubes with water, sugar, vanilla sugar, and cinnamon. Simmer for 10 minutes until tender. Allow to cool.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whip the cream until soft peaks form. In another bowl, mix mascarpone, quark, and sugar until smooth. Gently fold in whipped cream.
  3. In dessert glasses, layer half of the cream mixture followed by half of the cooled apple mixture. Repeat layers and finish with remaining apples.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Before serving, sprinkle with nut brittle.
