  • 2 large crisp apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • 1 cup soft caramel candies
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional)

  • flaky sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry apples; cut into 6 to 8 thick slices.
  2. Insert popsicle sticks into each apple slice.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt caramel candies with heavy cream in intervals until smooth.
  5. Dip apple slices halfway into the melted caramel; place on the baking sheet.
  6. Allow caramel to set for about 10 minutes.
  7. Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in another bowl until smooth.
  8. Drizzle melted chocolate over the caramel-coated apple slices.
