- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 12 oz uncooked chow mein noodles
- 2 cups cabbage
- 1 large carrot (julienned)
- 1/2 batch green onions
- 2 garlic cloves
- 4 Tbsp oyster sauce
- 3 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce
- 3 Tbsp light sesame oil
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 Tbsp corn starch
- 1 Tbsp granulated sugar
Instructions
- Prepare the sauce by whisking together oyster sauce, sugar, sesame oil, soy sauce, chicken broth, and corn starch in a mixing bowl.
- Cook chow mein noodles per package instructions; drain and rinse with cold water.
- Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over medium heat. Cut chicken into strips and cook until golden brown (5-7 minutes). Remove from pan.
- In the same pan, sauté carrots, cabbage, and garlic for about 3-5 minutes until softened.
- Return cooked chicken and noodles to the pan. Pour in the prepared sauce and stir well for another 2 minutes until heated through.
- Serve hot garnished with chopped green onions.
