Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped

- 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 12 lasagna noodles (cooked al dente)
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley or basil
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in minced garlic, crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, and seasonings. Simmer for 25–30 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, Parmesan cheese, and parsley until creamy.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a baking dish, layer meat sauce, noodles, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
