  • 1 can (15 oz) dark red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
  • 8 oz dry ditalini pasta

Instructions

  2. Add the onion, carrots, celery, and garlic; sauté until softened (4–5 minutes).
  3. Stir in tomato sauce, beef broth, diced tomatoes, and water; season with basil, oregano, sugar, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil then reduce to simmer for about 5–6 minutes.
  4. Add ditalini pasta; cook until al dente (9–11 minutes). Check liquid levels and add more water if necessary.
  5. Fold in rinsed kidney and cannellini beans; heat through for an additional 2–3 minutes.
