Ingredients

  • Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Fresh broccoli florets
  • Fettuccine noodles
  • Butter
  • Garlic cloves (minced)
  • Heavy cream
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter, add the chicken, and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté fresh broccoli florets for 3-5 minutes until tender yet crisp.
  4. Melt additional butter if needed in the skillet, add minced garlic, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Gradually whisk in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Combine cooked fettuccine into the sauce along with reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency. Mix in sliced chicken and sautéed broccoli until well coated.
  6. Serve hot with optional chopped parsley for garnish.
