  • 1/2 cup castor sugar (for sauce)
  • 3/4 cup orange juice
  • Thinly sliced orange peel

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, and salt. Add in eggs and vanilla extract; gradually stir in milk and water until smooth. Let batter rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and melt a small amount of unsalted butter. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter into the skillet, swirling to coat evenly. Cook until edges lift (1-2 minutes), then flip and cook until golden brown.
  3. For the orange sauce, melt castor sugar and unsalted butter in a saucepan until caramelized. Stir in orange peel and juice; simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened.
