- 1 can cream of mushroom soup

- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and chopped onion for about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Thinly slice potatoes to about 1/8 inch thick.
- Layer half the potatoes in the crockpot, then add half the beef mixture and some cheese. Repeat layers.
- In a bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; pour over layers in crockpot.
- Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours until potatoes are tender. Add remaining cheese during the last 15 minutes to melt before serving.
