Instructions

  3. In a large bowl, beat together softened butter, vegetable oil, sour cream, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Use a cookie scoop to portion dough onto the baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  6. Gently flatten each cookie with the bottom of a glass.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly browned. Cool on wire racks.
  8. For frosting, cream together butter, milk, vanilla, and gradually mix in powdered sugar until smooth.
