- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp chili crisp
- 4 garlic cloves (minced)
- 6 green onions (thinly sliced, separate white and green bits)
- 1 Tbsp fresh ginger (minced)
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp white miso paste
- 6 cups vegetable broth (or chicken broth)
- 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 lb frozen vegetable, chicken, or beef dumplings (mini wontons or potstickers)
- 3 to 4 cups baby bok choy or bok choy
- Toppings: fried onion, chili crisp, green onion, sesame seeds
Instructions
- Heat sesame oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chili crisp, white parts of green onion, ginger, and garlic; cook for 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in soy sauce, vegetable broth, and rice vinegar; bring to a boil and simmer for 4 minutes.
- Whisk miso paste with some hot broth until dissolved; add to the pot.
- Add frozen dumplings; simmer according to package instructions until cooked through.
- Stir in half of the green onion tops and baby bok choy; cook until wilted (1–2 minutes).
- Serve hot with toppings like fried onions, green onions, chili crisp, or sesame seeds.
