  • 3 Tbsps cornstarch + 6 Tbsps WARM water
  • 1 1/2 tsps My Dessert Lover Blend
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp freshly-squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 cups organic all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsps organic cane sugar
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon, optional
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, COLD + cubed
  • 1/41/3 cup COLD Almond milk
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 Tbsp Almond milk, unsweetened

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add cold almond milk and lemon juice; mix until just combined.
  3. In another bowl, mix drained peach slices with sugars, cornstarch mixed with warm water, melted butter, vanilla extract, and lemon juice until well combined.
  4. Pour the peach mixture into the prepared dish and dollop the batter on top without spreading it completely.
  5. Bake for about 55 minutes until golden brown on top and bubbly around the edges.
