  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup white granulated sugar
  • Zest of a small lemon
  • 3/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (room temperature)
  • 1 lb strawberries (rinsed, dried, and cut into cubes)
  • 2 tablespoons white granulated sugar
  • 4 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar (sifted)
  • 1 cup heavy cream (cold)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In one bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy; mix in lemon zest and eggs. Gradually add dry ingredients followed by sour cream.
