- 1/3 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil

- 1 tsp onion powder

- 1/2 tsp ground chipotle chile powder (or your favorite hot sauce)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together all marinade ingredients until well blended.
- Place the flank steak in a Ziploc bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal tightly and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or up to 24 hours.
- Remove the steak from the refrigerator about 30 minutes before grilling to bring it to room temperature.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates with olive oil using a paper towel.
- Grill the flank steak for approximately 4–5 minutes per side for medium rare (140–145°F) or about 6 minutes per side for medium (155–160°F).
- Let the steak rest covered with foil for about 5 minutes before slicing against the grain into thin strips.
