- Pinch cloves
- 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
- 1–½ cups powdered sugar
- 2–3 tablespoons milk
- 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine all-purpose flour, powdered sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt. Pulse until blended.
- Add cold butter cubes and pulse until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Gradually add milk while pulsing until dough begins to form.
- Divide dough into two disks, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, light brown sugar, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- On a floured surface, roll out one disk of dough to about ¼ inch thick.
- Using a round cutter or glass, cut out circles about 4 inches in diameter.
- Place about 1 tablespoon of pumpkin filling in the center of each dough circle.
