  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 8 oz fresh button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 1 cup full-fat sour cream
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp agar-agar powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by slicing the beef, chopping the onion, and mincing the garlic.
  2. Cook the egg noodles in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add oil and sauté the beef until browned on all sides. Remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, add onions and mushrooms; sauté until softened. Add garlic and paprika; cook for one minute.
  5. Pour in beef broth and scrape up any browned bits. Return the beef to the skillet.
  6. Stir in sour cream and agar-agar powder; simmer for five minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Fold in drained noodles until well coated. Serve garnished with parsley if desired.
