- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 8 oz fresh button mushrooms, sliced
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
- 1 cup full-fat sour cream
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp agar-agar powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by slicing the beef, chopping the onion, and mincing the garlic.
- Cook the egg noodles in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add oil and sauté the beef until browned on all sides. Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, add onions and mushrooms; sauté until softened. Add garlic and paprika; cook for one minute.
- Pour in beef broth and scrape up any browned bits. Return the beef to the skillet.
- Stir in sour cream and agar-agar powder; simmer for five minutes until slightly thickened.
- Fold in drained noodles until well coated. Serve garnished with parsley if desired.
