- 9 lasagna noodles (oven-ready)
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 3 cups marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat for 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat and stir in half the marinara sauce; simmer for a few minutes.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, half the Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Spread marinara sauce on the bottom of the baking dish. Layer with noodles, beef mixture, ricotta mixture, and spinach; repeat layers twice.
- Top with remaining marinara sauce and sprinkle mozzarella and remaining Parmesan on top.
- Cover with foil (avoiding contact with cheese) and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until bubbly.
