- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon tapioca flour
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari)
- 3 tablespoons cooking apple vinegar (or broth)
- 1–2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 inch ginger (grated)
- Oil (sesame or vegetable)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, cooking apple vinegar, and sugar; set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken with grated ginger, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, egg, and tapioca flour; knead until well mixed.
- Form mixture into 2-inch balls. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat and cook meatballs until browned on all sides.
- Lower heat, cover the pan, and let cook through. Drain excess oil then add the prepared sauce to the pan; coat meatballs evenly as it thickens.
