  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 ½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breast (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 2 teaspoons garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ¾ teaspoon dried chives
  • ¾ teaspoon dried dill weed
  • ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded and divided)
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 4 slices turkey bacon (cooked and crumbled)
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese (grated)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Blanch broccoli in boiling water for 5 minutes; rinse in cold water and drain.
  3. Place blanched broccoli in a greased 9×9 casserole dish.
  4. Season chicken pieces with garlic powder, onion powder, chives, parsley, dill weed, salt, and pepper.
  5. Sauté seasoned chicken in olive oil until cooked through; add minced garlic for the last 30 seconds.
  6. Transfer chicken into the casserole dish with broccoli.
  7. In the skillet, combine heavy cream with cheese; stir until slightly thickened.
  8. Pour sauce over chicken and broccoli; toss gently.
  9. Top with remaining cheese and crumbled turkey bacon.
  10. Bake for about 20 minutes until bubbly.
