  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 cup cooked basmati or jasmine rice
  • 1 tsp dried parsley or dill
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • Optional: drizzle of olive oil or a squeeze of lemon

Instructions

  1. Season the salmon with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Heat olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  2. Cook the salmon skin-side down for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until fully cooked.
  3. While the salmon cooks, steam or microwave broccoli florets until bright green and tender (about 3-5 minutes). Season with salt and drizzle with olive oil if desired.
  4. Toss hot cooked rice with dried parsley or dill and a pinch of salt in a mixing bowl.
  5. Serve the salmon alongside herbed rice and steamed broccoli.
