  • 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cups fresh cheese tortellini
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken with salt and pepper. In a large pot, melt butter over medium-high heat and cook the chicken until browned (about 6–8 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds, then add crushed red pepper flakes.
  3. Pour in chicken broth while scraping any bits from the bottom. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add tortellini and cook for about 4–6 minutes until tender.
  5. Return cooked chicken to the pot, mix in grated Parmesan cheese until melted, then serve hot.
