  • 8 cups fresh peaches (peeled and thinly sliced)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup packed light brown sugar
  • ½ cup + 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (divided)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (divided)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup (1 stick) salted butter (room temperature)
  • 1¾ cups old-fashioned oats

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and butter a 9×9 baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches, granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons of flour, cornstarch, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and salt. Pour into the prepared pan.
  3. In the same bowl, cream together brown sugar, remaining flour, butter, and remaining cinnamon until clumpy. Stir in oats until combined.
  4. Sprinkle the oat mixture over the peach filling and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden around the edges.
  5. Allow to cool for about 10 minutes before serving warm.
