  • 1 cup mashed potatoes (with butter and milk)
  • sliced carrots
  • green beans
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • black sesame seeds or nutritional yeast for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a frying pan over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add beef strips and sliced green bell peppers. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper; sear until browned and tender.
  2. Boil peeled potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain well and mash with butter and milk until creamy; season with salt and pepper.
  3. Using a steamer basket or pot, steam the sliced carrots and green beans until just tender; season lightly with salt and pepper.
  4. Layer creamy mashed potatoes on a plate followed by cooked beef strips with peppers. Arrange steamed veggies alongside and garnish with black sesame seeds or nutritional yeast.
