- 2 lbs beef chuck
- 1 large onion
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger
- 2 tbsp curry powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, optional
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1 (14 oz) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp oil for searing
- 2 cups all-purpose flour for naan
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1 tbsp melted butter for cooking
- 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
Instructions
- Season and sear the beef in oil until browned. Set aside.
- Sauté onions, garlic, and ginger until fragrant.
