  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp butter (melted)
  • 1/2 cup strawberries (diced for glaze)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, combine salt and baking powder with all-purpose flour; gradually mix into wet ingredients until just combined.
  4. Toss diced strawberries with 2 tablespoons of flour and gently fold into the batter.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-55 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  7. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with melted butter, diced strawberries, and vanilla extract until smooth; drizzle over cooled bread.
