  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons poultry seasoning (or salt, pepper, garlic powder)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Cut chicken breasts into ½ inch pieces and season with olive oil and poultry seasoning. Cook in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown.
  3. Slice the Italian loaf lengthwise and prepare a garlic butter mixture using melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, and red pepper flakes. Spread on both halves of the bread and toast in the oven for 5-10 minutes.
  4. In the same skillet used for the chicken, melt butter, add garlic, then stir in heavy cream and parmesan cheese until thickened.
  5. Assemble by spreading sauce on toasted bread halves, topping with chicken and mozzarella cheese. Bake until cheese is melted (about 5 minutes). Serve warm.
