Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • ⅔ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon table salt
  • 4 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 3 tablespoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups creamy peanut butter
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter (melted and cooled)
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 3 cups powdered sugar (sifted)
  • 10 ounces dark chocolate chips
  • ⅓ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted unsalted butter and granulated sugar until well blended. Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly, then stir in pure vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients until fully combined.
  4. Pour the brownie batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan and bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with slight moist crumbs.
  5. For the peanut butter topping, mix creamy peanut butter and melted butter until smooth; gradually incorporate powdered sugar and pure vanilla extract.
  6. Once brownies cool slightly, spread the peanut butter mixture evenly over the top.
  7. For the ganache, heat dark chocolate chips and heavy cream in a saucepan over low heat until smooth. Drizzle over frosted brownies once cooled.
