- 6 strips turkey bacon
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 large chicken breasts
- Flour (for dredging)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Cut turkey bacon into small pieces and fry in a skillet over medium-high heat until crispy (about 10 minutes). Remove and leave some fat in the pan.
- Slice chicken breasts in half lengthwise, season with garlic powder and pepper, then coat with flour.
- Cook chicken cutlets in the skillet with remaining turkey bacon fat for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Set aside.
- In the same skillet, add chicken broth, lemon juice, and butter; let bubble until reduced by half (3-4 minutes).
- Stir in heavy cream and return the cooked chicken and turkey bacon to the skillet. Cook for another 5 minutes or until everything is heated through and the sauce thickens.
