  • 14.5 oz canned diced tomatoes (fire-roasted recommended)
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp agar-agar dissolved in 2 tbsp water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. 1. Sauté: Set your Instant Pot to 'sauté' mode. Add olive oil, diced onions, and minced garlic; cook for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. 2. Brown: Add the Italian sausage links and brown on all sides for about 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Vegetables: Stir in the chopped bell peppers with a pinch of salt and pepper; sauté for an additional 3 minutes until softened.
  4. 4. Sauce: Pour in the canned tomatoes and chicken broth; sprinkle in Italian seasoning. Mix well.
