Description

Mango Strawberry Sorbet is a delightful and refreshing frozen dessert that perfectly combines the rich sweetness of ripe mangoes with the tartness of fresh strawberries. Ideal for warm days or as a light finish to any meal, this vegan treat is incredibly easy to make and sure to impress everyone.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe mangoes (about 2 cups), peeled and diced
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup sugar (adjust based on sweetness preference)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice for added brightness

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fruit by peeling and dicing the mangoes and hulling and slicing the strawberries.
  2. In a blender or food processor, combine the diced mangoes, sliced strawberries, sugar, water, and lime juice (if using). Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness or lime juice as needed. Blend briefly to incorporate any changes.
  4. Pour the blended mixture into a shallow freezer-safe dish. Cover airtight to prevent ice crystals from forming.
  5. Freeze for 4-6 hours or until solid, stirring every couple of hours for optimal texture.
