  • 2 pounds lean steak (sirloin or New York strip)
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 large red onion
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl or resealable bag, combine soy sauce, lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, black pepper, salt, and onion powder to create the marinade.
  2. Add steak pieces to the marinade and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (up to 24 hours).
  3. Season chopped onions and peppers with salt and pepper.
  4. Thread marinated beef and vegetables onto skewers.
  5. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat; grill kabobs for about 4–5 minutes per side until charred.
