Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 4 cheese slices
  • 4 burger buns

Instructions

  1. Prepare the smoker to 225°F using mesquite or hickory wood.
  2. Form the ground beef into four patties (8 ounces each) and make an indentation in the center.
  3. Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika in a bowl; season both sides of the patties.
