  • Juice and zest of one lemon
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar for glaze
  • Juice of half of a lemon for glaze
  • 2 Tablespoons warm water for glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine milk, melted butter, egg, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and zest.
  4. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and fold gently until just combined.
  5. Carefully add the chopped strawberries and mix until evenly distributed.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
